A sister is a forever friend. ~Author Unknown

Big sister’s arms around her new baby sister. The memory of it will last forever. And I love it.

I also love that I have been able to work with this beautiful growing family, who has shown kindness and compliments to me in not only choosing me to photograph many of their life moments but also in their {many} referrals of friends that I have come to photograph. A special thank you to you, Lauren. Having you as a client has been a special privilege and I enjoy the time we spend together during sessions.

Congratulations on Charlet’s arrival. She is a perfect addition to your happy, now family of four <3

NJ Newborn Photographer ~Braxton~

This 10 pound chunk of love was in my studio in September for his newborn session and I couldn’t have loved him more! He was so sweet and snuggly, sleepy and content. Mom had a few requests and I think we nailed them perfectly! Congratulations to this beautiful family! He is perfection!!!

 Welcome Braxton!

NJ Children’s Photographer ~Salotti~

I just love working with this beautiful family and their two boys. I have been lucky to photograph them several times now in different stages. This time around, we customized a session to grab a few shots of the boys together in their adorable soccer jerseys, get some updated shots of big brother and his guitar obsession, and snap some birthday shots of the little guy! Mom wanted to forego the usual cake smash and instead, brought blueberries and whipped cream and he went to town! Look at that smile! :)

The session was so much fun! And with how sweet these two turned out, count me in in favor of them having a third!!! (wink to mom)

But really. How adorable were these two during their maternity session? They met playing kickball in a Hoboken league. I swear I laughed through the whole session – between Christian’s attempted photo bombs, silly posing, bunny ears and other antics, it was so much fun!
The evening was perfect weather and Trisha and Christian were so photogenic. I loved Trisha’s dress and the fact that she was just glowing, made for beautiful photos.

Fast forward a few months later and meet their new arrival, Christian Michael.

Since the maternity session, I had been waiting to meet this little guy. He decided that he was going to make me work hard the day of his session but I never mind. I sneak in all the snuggles that I can, take joy in feeding them, and admire their different personalities. Each and every baby is such a beautiful miracle. And it never fails to amaze me how love these little blessings make us feel.

Congratulations Trisha and Christian. It has been a pleasure working with you from bump to baby. Baby Christian couldn’t be more perfect. He was the best holiday gift ever. And always will be <3

NJ Child Photographer ~Gabriel~

When I photographed Gabriel as a newborn, his mommy (and my long time friend), requested a basketball setup. I just loved our concept and thought it was especially fun to recreate it for his first birthday. Mommy has Brooklyn roots and picked the perfect jersey for the occassion (I had also photographed his big brother in Brooklyn for a milestone session a few years prior). The number on the jersey and the name on the back made for a great and memorable touch! And he SMILED in both photos as the icing on the cake!
And although he might not be able to slam dunk yet but Gabriel took his first real steps during his one year session!!!! It was so exciting. We held our breath and I snapped away to get the sweet little series below. To be able to capture that on camera was something I was so happy to do for my friend. I love that she’ll always have that memory.

For his cake smash, I adore all the fun shots – my favorite thing to see kids do during a cake smash is lean in and take a bite! Think I could get away with something like that on my next birthday?
Happy Birthday, Gabriel. I can’t wait to continue taking pictures of you as you grow. xoxo
