My apologies in advance if this is just too much cuteness to handle…EEK!
I’m glad I got to capture these special moments. On to year TWO!……
My apologies in advance if this is just too much cuteness to handle…EEK!
This sweet six pounder was in my Hunterdon County, NJ studio right before Thanksgiving. Dream baby! We called her a little bunny since she loved bringing her hands up to her chin. Not much of a peep was heard from her during the session and she was so easy to pose. I loved her little blond fuzzy head and the way she curled up so easily. As usual, mom and dad wouldn’t let me keep her (I needed a girl even more since even the puppy we had just gotten was a boy!) but I had so much fun getting a little “girly” for her session!
I always love getting to know my clients during their sessions, but mostly, my goal is for them to sit back, relax and enjoy watching me work with their new little blessing. There are some photographers that choose not to involve their families as much during sessions, but for me (and also because of my “intimate” studio space), I love my parents being involved and appreciating how very much I really do love their babies. I want them to see that I use the utmost TLC during handling and posing, that I prioritize safety, and that my experience as a mom, a physical therapist (with NICU experience) and a newborn photographer makes me confident in my work. Bottom line: you need to trust your photographer and love your experience!
I think it’s safe to say that I enjoyed working with this family. Mom has already been in touch about a first birthday session. I don’t want to rush it, but I can’t wait to work with them again!
Congratulations to this new family of three!
Oh! And PS- isn’t she the CUTEST sno(wo)man you’ve just about ever seen?!!!
Oh goodness! Isn’t he just edible??!!
This little teddy bear came in to my Clinton, NJ studio and was exactly that—a teddy bear! He must have loved the nice warm room, the white noise, the cuddles and the snack feedings! Mom and Dad traveled all the way from NYC for their session after having been referred by a friend (thank you!). They also requested that Theo be photographed on a special family blanket. Obviously, he was on board with that since he gave us a big smile! I love that as a NJ newborn photographer, I get to capture such a special time in a family’s life. Getting genuine emotion from parents during parent shots is easy – they are completely in love with their new baby (and you can see that Theo gave us another smile while his mommy and daddy held him!). I especially love the shot with daddy- to see a father with his newborn son is just so amazing. It’s the perfect mix of masculine and mush. Don’t you agree?! I love the perspective of just how little he looks in his daddy’s arms.
Congratulations to this new family of three!
Meet Victoria!
Just shy of six pounds, I got to meet her in my Hunterdon County studio in mid November. She was so content and posable and hardly made a peep. The session was so much fun as we started with parent shots and then moved onto her solo shots. It’s always hard to choose favorites but I love her in the gold romper! Although I really do love a good newborn yawn!
Mommy and Daddy are completely in love and it’s easy to see why! Victoria is simply perfect and I wish the most heartfelt congratulations to this new family of three! Thank you for choosing me!
I got to meet Mia for her first birthday cake smash in my Hunterdon County studio, right before the holidays (yes, I’m a bit behind on blogging!)! I had so much fun shopping for this winter theme in all the colors Mommy loves! Of course, as a mom of three boys, I hadn’t been covered in this much glitter in years so it made it that much more fun!
Mia was such a joy and really loved the discovery! If you think about it, a cake smash is probably one of the first times that a lot of babies are not only allowed to eat something so sweet, but also, one of the first times they’re allowed to get so messy! It’s always fun to see how they react (and how different their reaction is from what their parents predict!!). The last photo in Mia’s gallery basically went viral- it was one of my most liked photos ever, posted to my FB page with the caption: “I hope you’re Thanksgiving is THIS good.” Love it!!! I also love how creative some babies get when attempting to “taste” their cake (check out the one where leans in to lick it!). I seriously could have posted EVERY photo from this gallery!
Happy First Birthday, Mia! Thank you for allowing me to create such a fun cake smash to celebrate your milestone!!!
Hahahahahaha!!! These are FANTASTIC!!!
These r the best…that last one is priceless!!!!!
