NJ Child Photographer ~Avery is One~

Meet Avery!

What a sweet, smart little girl whose curiosity is fun to watch! Mommy wanted something that was more naturally rustic with a touch of sweetness and I think we nailed it with this perfect backdrop!

A portrait mini session was perfect to capture a few shots of Avery’s adorable little smile (she loves to stick out her tongue!) and to finally meet her mommy (after having worked with her daddy a few years now at the hospital). Sorry Erica! But Avery is Matt’s CLONE!!! {wink} And I just love that although Mommy wasn’t dressed to be in photos, we still got some great playful shots that I know will be cherished! Sometimes the best ones end up being unplanned!
Thank you for coming to my NJ studio for your first birthday portraits! It’s the best job to be a Hunterdon County child photographer!

Happy Birthday, Avery! Onto year TWO!

NJ Family Photographer ~The Johnstone Family~

So lucky to have photographed this family for years now, having known Dana since high school! In fact, our moms are still friends and socialize often. One of the things I love best about my business is how it reconnects me with people in my life. I really do enjoy seeing this family from year to year. The girls are adorable and well mannered and it’s fun to see how differently each photo session goes from year to year (and have a chuckle about some of the antics from our past sessions!).

I can’t believe how much the girls have grown. When I met with the Johnstone family in this beautiful Hunterdon County, NJ location, it was the perfect fall evening for some fun, silliness, tickling and chatting about their great Halloween costumes! It doesn’t hurt that they are all so photogenic but I could have easily posted every photo from their session! I love seeing all of you each year and thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your memories! PS- the Christmas card with the photos from our session is perfect!!!

NJ Newborn Photographer ~Samuel~

Welcome Samuel!

I have been lucky to have photographed his big brother several times and very much enjoy spending time with his family. I met mom years ago when I was working in Staten Island and I just love how life reconnects people along the way!
It was a busy morning in my Clinton, NJ studio and Samuel had a very enthusiastic appetite! . Glad to have gotten my snuggles in – I was overdue. And I especially love the family shot- Mom and Dad are so wonderfully relaxed with their babies and capturing a shot that reflected their happy, laid back personalities was a goal. I think we did just that! What genuine smiles!

I always try to include some detail shots in every gallery too. If you’ve followed my work for any length of time, you will notice that I don’t like to overedit my babies. Remembering some of those little flakes and perfect imperfections is important. They become memories all too quickly…

Thank you Anna and Larry, for choosing me again to capture Samuel’s newborn photos. You have a beautiful family of four – so happy that you have all those newborn moments again with Samuel.

NJ Child Photographer ~Tyler is One!~

Tyler!!

Love this huge grin and those two little teeth poking out! This little guy is the second of two boys in his family and I’m so happy to have finally met him! I photographed his brother a while back and love working with this {now} family of four!
Tyler was playful, busy, and curious during our session and we had lots of fun hiding toys, tickling and exploring props! I especially love the sequence with the blanket. Such genuine, happy smiles.
Happy Birthday big guy! I hope year two is just as much fun!

Clinton, NJ Newborn Photographer ~Kennedy~

“Carry laughter with you wherever you go.” ~Hugh Sidey

Meet Kennedy!

I’m told both of her Grandpas are named Ken so her name suits her perfectly. I also personally love it because it was on my list for a girl when I was expecting!

You would never know from that sweet, sleepy face that this little lady doesn’t like to miss a thing! I love her in the sunflower setup for autumn and the huge smile she gave us a few photos down. It still never ceases to amaze me how perfect every little baby is and how they’re born with their own little personalities. Welcome to the world, Miss Kennedy! And congratulations to this new family of three.
