Easter Mini Sessions

So happy to see all the little “peeps” in their Easter best! Thank you for being a part of my Easter mini sessions!

Lisa - I loved the mini sessions! Just enough time to capture great images of a baby!

Jess - Is that a backdrop or how did you get branch to stay up?! I love it 🙂

Patricia Lyman - Is that branch a back drop?

stefaniepolitiphotography@hotmail.com - Hi Patricia, no. I made the branch myself 🙂

Sophia

I photographed Sophia’s newborn session and was so excited for this little beauty to return to my studio for her sitter session. Mommy and I picked out a few sweet setups (adorable!) and also incorporated her love for books. The session was relaxed and fun and we ended up with so many great images! It is so rewarding for me to photograph these little ones as they grow. I feel like I’m able to be a little piece of the happiness. Thank you for coming back to see me, Little Miss Sophia!

Evan

And now that I just got done gushing about our educators, I’ll just segway right into our health care practitioners (of which I am also one!).

I work with both Baby Evan’s mom and dad at one of our local hospitals. Truly, this little guy couldn’t have parents that love each other more and now have another little blessing in their lives. It takes a certain kind of person to work in a hospital- you need to have patience, people skills, be able to multi-task, and remember that people’s loved ones are sick or recovering. You need to be able to deliver medical based service in a caring, compassionate, yet effective and timely manner in an environment that is not always ideal. Both Tanya and Julio are excellent at their jobs and I have no doubt that this new role as parents will be one that they excel in as well.

I know that a photography session is an investment. I’ve been on the other end, as a client, many times (and still continue to be). And I know that there are many considerations in choosing a photographer. But when Tanya told me that they wouldn’t think of going to anyone else because they loved my work so much, I felt like that was the biggest compliment I could ever get.
And let’s face it- I don’t really think Evan could have taken a bad picture. This little guy is perfection! Congratulations, Tanya and Julio! It was my pleasure and privilege to photograph your son.

Tanya Serrano - Love this.. got all teary reading it lol.. Thank you sooo much! You are sooo good at what you do!

Cole

One of the reasons we moved to our town was because the school district had earned the Blue Ribbon. And as is the case with any profession, some educators stand out from others in how much they are invested in our children and in just how much they enjoy their jobs. Mrs. Repsher is one of those teachers. She is my oldest son’s third grade music teacher and the kids adore her! But the feeling is mutual…she actually lights up when she talks about her students and has a genuine sincerity in her praise of them. Even in just the discussions we had over planning the newborn session, I couldn’t tell you how many times she gushed about her students and really missed being with them on a daily basis. We are lucky to have Mrs. Repsher in our district and I was lucky that she chose me to photograph this special time in her family’s life.
Baby Cole’s older brother Brooks, was as sweet as could be and very careful not to upset his new little brother. We got some great sibling shots and then Cole cooperated perfectly for his part. Here are a few of my favorites from the session. Congratulations, Mrs. Repsher! Cole and Brooks are adorable! I’m sure they will be best friends for life!

Erin Repsher - Thank you, Stefanie! Meeting wonderful, supportive parents like you is one of the many perks of my job. We loved our time with you during our session and adore the pictures! Thank you for your words!!

Zachary is One

“The eyes have one language everywhere.” ~George Herbert

It’s going to be the first thing you notice. His eyes! They are gorgeous! Bright blue, clear, and sparkling with happiness! Simple setups made Zachary the focus of the photos for his first birthday and seriously….didn’t he just rock that tie?
Mom and Dad also wanted a baseball setup and I think you would have to agree that whether you’re Team Pepsi or Team Coke, this cutie is the real winner. 🙂
Happy First Birthday Zachary! May all your wishes come true!

Joan - Love love love! Cannot wait to meet this cutie in person in a few weeks!!! <3
