NJ Newborn Photographer ~Leah~

Meet Leah!
The first image was Mommy’s “have to have it” shot as she was in love with the beautiful flowers and colors of this setup.
Leah is the second girl for this new family of four and she was just adorable. Entering early into this world and weighing in at only a little over five pounds, Leah was a sweetheart for her newborn session in my Hunterdon County, NJ studio in June.
I had first met Mom around the holidays when we did a mini cake smash for big sister Mia (see last 3 photos). We had so much fun and I was so happy when I was asked to photograph baby number two! I always love working with families as they grow.
Congratulations and welcome to the world baby girl!

Welcome to the world, Layla!

One of the best parts of my “job” is knowing early on when my client families are expecting! Mommy and I were in touch in November about her good news and I’ve been waiting to meet this little lady ever since! I photographed her big brother a few years ago and I couldn’t wait to work with this beautiful family again!
Sometimes it’s difficult to engage older siblings in the photo session. A new baby means a lot of changes on top of the fun of being two. But I was able to grab a couple smiles (who doesn’t like to be tickled) from Jaylen and I just loved how they came out. She’ll always have a big brother to protect her. It was also fun to include Grandma in a shot. Isn’t she lovely with her new baby granddaughter? So much love!
Layla was a perfect angel for the session. Aside from not wanting me to reposition her hands, she was a sleepy doll. Mom loves color so we were able to use a lot of fun setups to compliment her beautifully.

Ines, it was just lovely working with you again. Your growing family is beautiful and I wish you heartfelt congratulations on your newest addition. Thank you again for choosing me.

PS- CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT HAIR??!!

Meet Miss Avery!

She was soooooo good to me during her newborn session in late May! As soon as I had her in my arms, she was cooing and giving me sleepy baby smiles. And that was what she was like just about the whole session!
Mommy requested a swing shot and I just love how it turned out. Such a pretty seasonal setup – and pink, which we incorporated into almost every pose for this sweet little lady.
It has been my pleasure to work with this family several times now and I’m honored that they chose me again to photograph their beautiful, expanding family. Jess, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of such a special time in your lives. I enjoyed our session together and am so happy for you to have your perfect little girl!

NJ Child Photographer ~Matthew~

Is he not the most adorable little guy EV-AH?!!

Meet Matty! I got to photograph his first birthday portraits and cake smash in late May in my Hunterdon County, NJ studio. I just about died when I saw how mom styled his hair and he needed almost no warm up time to offer his beautiful smiles.
I’m so happy mom chose me for this special occasion. First birthdays are such a fun milestone.
Happy First Birthday, Matthew! On to year two!

NJ Newborn Photographer ~Asher~

And. I. Die.

Of course, if you know me, you also know that it kills me to post a FLYERS hockey photo as a DEVILS fan but at least it’s not a Rangers jersey….LOL

Handsome, oh, so handsome and yummy Asher (his name means happiness, I’m told!) was in my studio in late May. My baby fever probably hit an all time high. He was amazing! I loved his strawberry blonde wisps and he was so cooperative. I just loved posing him. Thank you to my client and friend, Jill for referring this beautiful family to me. I know dad wasn’t 100% convinced about having newborn photos taken but mom told me that when we planned the hockey shot, he was all in! A family handmade blanket as a requested prop also helped personalize the session.
And since it’s August when I’m finally blogging this session, I can also say that mom and dad LOVED their gallery and all the beautiful photos of their new little man!

Congratulations to this new family of three. I really enjoyed our time together. It’s unfortunate that you wouldn’t let me keep Asher but I can understand your adoration. Love him!
