Meet Jack!
He is our hospital rehab department’s long awaited arrival and the subject of many guesses of arrival date, gender and weight!
I’m so lucky to have been able to photograph his newborn session in my Hunterdon County, NJ studio when he arrived in February and to spend time with his mommy and daddy in my studio. It’s always a goal of mine for my clients to feel relaxed during their sessions. It can be a little stressful when your first outing with baby (besides a checkup) is to your photographer’s studio! But I love for my clients to be able to watch me work and pose their precious baby. It’s a nice chunk of time that mommy and daddy get to “take off” from 24-7 newborn duty! And this session was no exception- it was so relaxed – Jack was so happy, content and sleepy and he made the sweetest cooing noises that once again reminded me of how quickly these newborn days pass. Mommy told me that she loved little sleepy caps so we had to work one in but my favorite from the session is when Jack smiled snuggling the teddy. How precious! One of the best parts of being a NJ newborn photographer is being part of the collective reaction when we capture a smile on camera!
I actually got to see Jack again yesterday and he’s grown so much! He gives me serious baby fever with those chunky arms and legs!
A newborn session will forever put into memory these early days and it is something that is well worth the investment. Thank you Danielle and Scott for trusting me to capture these memories for you.
