Happy First Birthday, Miss Emma!
There is just something magical about your little smile and I loved seeing how much you’ve grown since I last photographed you at 3 months (top left). Mommy and Daddy are so very much in love with their sweet little girl and I’m so happy I could photograph these special moments.

Tara and Tim are both from Hunterdon County, NJ and I thought this was a perfect spot for their maternity session. They were so natural in front of the camera, despite the 90+ degree weather we were having at the time! Tara has a perfect baby bump and Tim was so loving with her, I know they are going to make wonderful parents!
They were waiting to be surprised with the gender so we took some fun shots: work boots for a boy, and little ballet shoes for a girl. I’m usually about 8/10 on my gender guesses but got this one wrong! Fast forward a few weeks and brand new baby Brayden was in my Clinton, NJ studio. Mommy asked for a fall setup and it ended up being one of my favorites ever! And Daddy is a Fighting Irish fan so we had to get his first fan gear documented.
Brayden was so sweet to cuddle and I just couldn’t get over his beautiful head of blonde hair! Mommy and Daddy are clearly head over heels for their sweet baby boy and for good reason- he’s perfect! Congratulations to this new family of three. It has been my pleasure working with you from bump to baby and being your NJ maternity photographer and your NJ newborn photographer!

It’s sessions like these, and client families like the Salottis that remind me of how much I love my job. I photographed big brother-to-be, Adam, as a newborn and he was back in my Clinton, NJ studio for his first birthday mini cake smash. Mommy wanted something simple and a more natural cake – I love how it came together. Despite traveling a distance to see me (Hoboken!) and not napping in the car, Adam did surprisingly well during his cake smash. I can honestly say that he enjoyed it, especially the blueberries on the top and he was very busy too, with the balloons and grooving to his favorite: Taylor Swift on Mommy’s phone.
I was so excited to this fun, and down to earth family again. And what made it even more exciting was that Mommy was expecting baby boy number two in just a few short weeks. As it happened, Zachary arrived and this sweet family was back to see me in less than three weeks for a newborn session in my Hunterdon County, NJ studio. What a sweet, easy, cuddly baby that was a joy to pose! I love when my families relax in my studio, when they are repeat clients and when we can set a comfortable, easy pace to capture all of these precious memories.

This beautiful mama was expecting a baby boy and was positively glowing for her maternity session with her husband at this Hunterdon County, NJ location. She’s a fellow rehab professional and hater of bugs, so what spot would be more perfect than in the middle of a field in the hot summer? No bugs here! LOL.
I hear from a lot of expecting moms that they don’t like to be photographed and most times, the most recent experience you have with a photographer until you have children, is with your wedding photographer. Sometimes posing can feel very awkward but I always reassure my clients that the end result is worth it. And I always take the time to try to make my clients feel comfortable right off the bat. It’s hard to feel pretty sometimes when you are carrying a special extra bundle and maybe feeling a bit awkward. But Jessica and Jeff were fun from the start and the session was just perfect! And to be honest, I’ve never seen a mom-to-be that didn’t look beautiful. Jessica was no exception.
It was a truly enjoyable evening with some good laughs.
And from belly bump to baby, along came Samuel!
I got to meet this Ah-mazing (!) little guy in my Clinton, NJ studio. He was one of the most content babies I have ever photographed – so sweet tempered, easy to pose and just a little bundle of newborn love. He is just adorable in all of the setups and I’m glad I don’t have to be the one to choose my favorites!

L-O-V-E the color scheme for his mini cake smash and had so much fun with this happy family of three. Cameron traveled all the way from Hoboken to my studio in Clinton, NJ to come see me (and that’s saying a LOT because mommy says he HATES the car!!). Cake smashes are some of my favorite storytelling sessions. All the little details make for one great big moment in time. Such a memorable milestone.

People say all the time, how fast time flies. How important it is to treasure them when they are small. These sessions have been the perfect gift to hold on to that time. I will be forever grateful.
