Clinton, NJ newborn photographer {Charlotte}

Sweet Charlotte was in my studio a few weeks ago and after a little hard work initially, slept through the rest of the session without even waking to eat! The studio was nice and warm, the white noise was cranking and I enjoyed spending the morning with this new family of three. Daddy specifically requested that his little “superhero” be photographed in this Wonder Woman outfit and as you know, she’s a childhood favorite of mine so I was happy to oblige! We even caught a few sweet smiles- isn’t she just adorable?!

Congratulations and welcome Charlotte! I think we’ll be seeing a lot of your name in 2015! (PS- it was on my favorite name list years ago – but this mom of three boys never got to choose it!)

If you’ve followed my work for any length of time, you know that I love to shoot mothers and newborns. Honestly there isn’t a purer love. The emotion is natural and palpable and captures such a special time in a woman’s life. These images are no exception. Even baby Oliver smiled in his mommy’s arms.

I have so many favorites from this gallery. Thank you to Jonathan and Delia for choosing me and trusting me to capture these fleeting days of sweet, curly poses and sleepy smiles.

Cami- you have been such a joy to photography over this first special year and this session was no exception. Mommy loved the idea of using a prop from your newborn session for your birthday mini portrait session and it’s really amazing to see how much you’ve grown! Your sweet smile lights up a room and your curiosity is so much fun to watch. Happy Birthday baby girl and have a wonderful second year!

Meet sweet Ava. She came to me by referral from another photographer, which is always such a wonderful compliment. Ava was 12 days old and 6 pounds at the time of her newborn session and I had the pleasure of spending the morning with her, her mommy and her grandma. She looks gorgeous in these setups and I’m especially in love with the butterflies! Congratulations to this new family of three.
