Miss Julia is turning one, Breakfast at Tiffany’s style! First we were able to capture some great portraits- Mommy loves her little girl in cream tulle and elegant shabby chic style so I knew the first setup would be perfect! Aren’t her expressions just the best?!
And I loved how the cake smash all came together! Mommy and I worked to get in all the details, right down to her Tiffany heart bracelet, the boxes and her baby book, and all the other fun accents!
I photographed Julia when she was a newborn and always love seeing how much “my” babies have grown. Happy Birthday, Julia! May all your wishes come true!

Another one of my handsome “boyfriends” was in the studio recently for his one year portrait minis. Although, I must admit, I was no competition for his mommy. He only has eyes for her (although I did sneak in a few snuggles at the end!).

Happy Birthday big man! So happy to have been able to photograph your sitter and one year sessions! You certainly are one dapper little dude!

In love with this cake smash setup – pink and gold {and mint} are a popular request in my Hunterdon County, NJ studio, and for good reason (such a pretty combo!)  Miss Nia is turning one and looked so sweet in her birthday outfit. She knocked over the cake stand several times sending the cake sliding off, dragged her feet through it, and even sat on the cake but a big “Nia” smile escaped us. Not to worry- we got some during her portrait shots and had lots of fun regardless! We even put Nia back on the rocker we photographed her on during her newborn session! I love incorporating all the special touches in your personalized session.

“and {they} called him the most wild thing of all and made him king of all wild things”….{and cake smashes}

Where can I even begin to tell you how much fun this session was?!! Holden even put his head in the cake, crown and all (and then his foot too). Mommy and I had fun planning this one! I am so lucky to have photographed Holden since he was born and this session marks the fourth time I’ve worked with this wonderful family. Thank you so much for letting me document this happy, first year of Holden’s life! He is so special and his smile makes me melt!
